Kural 97: The Utterance of Pleasant Words
நயன்ஈன்று நன்றி பயக்கும் பயன்ஈன்று பண்பின் தலைப்பிரியாச் சொல்
Nayan Eendru Nandri Payakkum Payaneendru
Panpin Thalaippiriyaach Chol
That speech which, while imparting benefits ceases not to please, will yield righteousness (for this world) and merit (for the next world)
நன்மையான பயனைத் தரக்கூடிய நல்ல பண்பிலிருந்து விலகாத சொற்கள் அவற்றைக் கூறுவோருக்கும் இன்பத்தையும், நன்மையையும் உண்டாக்கக் கூடியவைகளாகும்
