பொதுநலத்தார் புன்னலந் தோயார் மதிநலத்தின் மாண்ட அறிவி னவர்

Those whose knowledge is made excellent by their (natural) sense will not covet the trffling delights
இயற்கையறிவும் மேலும் கற்றுணர்ந்த அறிவும் கொண்டவர்கள் பொதுமகளிர் தரும் இன்பத்தில் மூழ்கமாட்டார்கள்
