நுண்மாண் நுழைபுல மில்லான் எழினலம் மண்மாண் புனைபாவை யற்று

The beauty and goodness of one who is destitute of knowledge by the study of great and exquisite works, is like (the beauty and goodness) of a painted earthen doll
அழகான தோற்றம் மட்டுமே இருந்து, ஆழ்ந்து தெளிந்த அறிவில்லாமல் இருப்பவர்கள், கண்ணைக் கவரும் மண் பொம்மையைப் போன்றவர்களாகவே மதிக்கப்படுவார்கள்
