Kural 314: Not doing Evil
இன்னாசெய் தாரை ஒறுத்தல் அவர்நாண நன்னயஞ் செய்து விடல்

The (proper) punishment to those who have done evil (to you), is to put them to shame by showing them kindness, in return and to forget both the evil and the good done on both sides
நமக்குத் தீங்கு செய்தவரைத் தண்டிப்பதற்குச் சரியான வழி, அவர் வெட்கித் தலைகுனியும்படியாக அவருக்கு நன்மை செய்வதுதான்
