Kural 300: Veracity
யாமெய்யாக் கண்டவற்று ளில்லை எனைத்தொன்றும் வாய்மையின் நல்ல பிற
Yaameyyaak Kantavatrul Illai Enaiththondrum
Vaaimaiyin Nalla Pira
Amidst all that we have seen (described) as real (excellence), there is nothing so good as truthfulness
வாய்மையைப் போல் சிறந்த பண்பு வேறொன்றுமே இல்லை என்பதுதான் ஆராய்ந்து உணரப்பட்ட உண்மையாகும்
